Artist Statement
As an art photographer I am interested in gender and social roles and how we as society create and educate ourselves in these roles. Questions that drive me are: What type of behaviour do we expect from or attribute to women, men or people who are non-binary? Which expressions of emotions are desired? Are there differences depending on the space or the social context?

Biography

I work with digital photography, with a focus on portraits. I was born in Essen in 1986, studied at the University of Television and Film in Munich and live and work in Berlin. I am part of the Female Photoclub and  the Professional Association of Freelance Photographers and Film Designers (Berufsverband Freie Fotografen und Filmgestalter e.V., BFF).
